Appalachian Trail License Plates... where is Maine's?

Hello everyone!

"Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Proverbs 4:26"

I was just in the middle of pondering, and that scripture seemed appropriate to post. I pray that you all think about where you are heading, and let Christ direct your paths... with each step firmly planted in His will.

There are other things that I ponder... like license plates to help support the Appalachian Trail. I was wondering how many of the fourteen "Trail States", currently make them available to their residents. Let's see... near as I can remember, the fourteen "Trail States" are as follows:

Maine (that's "us"), New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, California (NOOOO!, Not California!!!), ...let's see... where was I? I've GOT to stop trying to be funny...
...West Virginia, East Virginia... there I go again! Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia!

So... I pondered, and supposed that ALL of the States that are host to the Appalachian Trail would have a license plate available, or at least, have one "in the works". After pondering, I got online, to try to find out... And as far as I can see, the only progress in this area, is with the following States...

NORTH CAROLINA!

TENNESSEE!

VIRGINIA!

GEORGIA!

Beautiful, aren't they!?!

So... my next ponderable would be something like... "Who else would like to have an Appalachian Trail License Plate in THEIR State?"... or... "Who else, besides ME, would like to have an AT Specialty Plate for MAINE?". So many questions could be answered! Yes, I see that it takes quite a bit of work to get a "specialty plate" to fruition, but isn't it worth it? Let me know what you think! Post a comment, or drop an e-mail! Let me know if there are other States that are pondering... the possibilities... of a special Appalachian Trail License Plate!

'til I hear from you... God Bless!
